Joy of Being is located in downtown Moss Beach, Calfornia. We are 30 gorgeous minutes south of San Francisco on beautiful and historic Highway 1. We are 10 minutes north of Half Moon Bay. And a quick ride over highway 92 from San Mateo and Palo Alto - Stanford.

August 28th, 2008:  Joy of Being, a Wellness Center will be opening in Moss Beach, CA on Sunday September 21st at 4:30pm.

Joy of Being will offer various ways to experience increased joy and presence in life with a diverse mix of Yoga, Tai Chi, dance, therapeutic movement, music, meditation, Reiki classes and more for adults and children.  In the treatment room several modalities of massage and bodywork will be offered, including Craniosacral Therapy, Deep Tissue, Hawaiian, Pregnancy and Fertility massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Chakra Balancing and Shamanic Restoration.

Founder Jane Sanguinetti-Treckeme has identified a need on the coast for a beautiful and sacred green studio which will support bodyworkers, teachers, clients and students alike in finding the joy of being alive and living consciously.  Jane brings together many of the talented healers and teachers she has met in her years as a massage therapist and Reiki teacher in Pacifica.

The grand opening event will be September 21st from 4:30pm to 9:00 pm.  The community is invited to the newly renovated space (formerly Seaside Serenity) at 2385 Carlos Street, Suite A, Moss Beach, CA  94038. 

The opening will feature a live performance by the unique sound healer Astarius Reiki-Om, who will bring Reiki energy to life through music, poetry, and vocals accompanied by the continuous sound of the didgeridoo.  Children are welcome and refreshments will be served.
